Reviews and Ratings
I found the hotel to be a great bargain for the price I paid. The room was surprisingly nice and clean, even though it gave off a seedy motel vibe. The service was friendly and efficient, despite the hotel being completely booked. The location was convenient, just a short 5-minute drive from the airport. However, the dining options were quite disappointing, with food that seemed stale and lacked freshness.
The hotel rooms may seem nice, but they have some critical issues with outlets, TV, door safety, and A/C. Despite showing signs of age, the rooms are still comfy and clean. The service varies from rude employees to extremely helpful and friendly staff. The location is a bit sprawled but relatively close to the airport. The dining experience is mediocre with overpriced options. The facilities are average, with room for improvement.
I was a bit surprised by the rate for a last-minute reservation, and the rooms, although a little too small, should be equipped with nicer equipment. The fire stair door was a concern. However, the service, without exception, was top-notch, making me believe the night cleaning in the nearby rooms might have been managed well. The location, while close to the Newark airport, felt somewhat separated from traditional NJ neighborhoods. Dining, though not meeting my value expectations, provided some good dishes and Spanish food options.
